According to BlockBeats: The Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) has received an application for a virtual asset trading platform license from VAEX. As revealed on November 27th, the SFC updated their list of applicants for such licenses, with the addition of "Hong Kong VAEXC Limited" which submitted their application on November 25th.
The name of the proposed virtual asset trading platform is "VAEX". With no Chinese name assigned to the company, VAEX is one of the recent entries in a growing list of firms seeking to officially operate a virtual asset trading platform in Hong Kong.
Currently, eight companies have officially lodged applications for virtual asset trading platform licenses to the Hong Kong SFC. Notably, "AMMBR (HK) LIMITED" withdrew its application, as per the latest reports.
