The total amount caused by hacker attacks, phishing scams and Rug Pull The loss amounted to US$356.53 million, approximately 6.9 times the total loss in October. Among them, attacks cost approximately US$335.63 million, phishing scams cost US$14.6 million, and rug pull events cost US$6.3 million.
In November, two security incidents occurred in which stolen funds exceeded 100 million: approximately US$126 million was stolen from the crypto exchange Poloniex; approximately US$110 million was stolen from HTX and its related cross-chain bridge HECO Bridge. These two security incidents (both projects owned by Justin Sun) accounted for 66% of the hacker losses this month. There has been an increase in phishing incidents this month compared to the previous month, with multiple addresses being phished for more than US$1 million. In addition, global crypto crime cases have increased significantly this month, with many cases involving more than $100 million, including fraud, money laundering and other types.
