The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) will use Avalanche blockchain-based certification system LegitDoc to issue tamper-proof certificates in India. LegitDoc is a blockchain-based credential lifecycle management system developed by Zupple Labs that uses Avalanche’s C-chain as the primary settlement layer for IEEE certificate issuance.
It is reported that India is IEEE's second largest membership base outside the United States, with more than 75,000 members. The professional association will issue IEEE certificates or certificates to all students and users, making the verification process tamper-proof, instant and secure. (Cointelegraph)
