Indian e-commerce company Flipkart will launch the Ethereum-based ZK Layer 2 network built using Polygon Chain Development Kit (CDK) to expand its FireDrops Web3 loyalty program.
FireDrops 2.0 will be powered by the Hang loyalty platform, designed to inspire brand loyalty through gamification. Since its launch in September, FireDrops has attracted more than 3.3 million wallets holding at least 1 NFT, nearly a third of which belong to female shoppers.
According to previous news in May, Polygon Labs cooperated with Flipkart, an Indian e-commerce company owned by Walmart, to launch the loyalty program FireDrops 2.0 to provide loyalty rewards to Flipkart users, thereby enhancing brand marketing, storytelling and customer engagement on the Polygon network.
According to reports, Firedrops 2.0 will provide users of the Flipkart platform to "leverage a benefits structure using NFT technology to obtain a personalized, engaging and rewarding experience through gamification." Specifically, users will receive lifetime discounts, membership passes, and other rewards that can be earned through tasks.
