According to Decrypt, gaming-centric tokens RON and BEAM are experiencing significant gains as the crypto market continues to rise. RON, the token of gaming-focused Ethereum sidechain network Ronin, has increased by 21% in the last 24 hours to a current price of $1.75. This surge in value has led to a 67% weekly gain and a 197% jump in the last 30 days. Ronin's growth is largely attributed to the rising adoption of Pixels, a popular blockchain game that recently migrated to the network from Polygon. Additionally, Axie Infinity, the monster-battling game that originally launched the network, has seen increased momentum amid the improving crypto market.
BEAM, the Ethereum-based token of Merit Circle's Beam gaming network, has also experienced growth. On Wednesday, Merit Circle announced plans to integrate the upcoming Immutable zkEVM network into the Beam ecosystem. Following the announcement, BEAM reached a new all-time high price of just above $0.017. The token has since settled to a current price of approximately $0.0162, marking a 6% increase on the day, a 78% gain over the past week, and a 238% rise in the last month. Other gaming tokens, such as Immutable's IMX and Gala Games' GALA, have also seen gains in recent days. As the crypto market continues to grow, gaming tokens like RON and BEAM are likely to benefit from increased interest and adoption.
