According to Foresight News, Google announced on December 6 that it will update its cryptocurrency and related products policy from January 2024 to clarify the scope and requirements for cryptocurrency token trust advertisements. Starting from January 29, 2024, advertisers offering cryptocurrency token trust targeting ads in the United States will need to obtain certification and meet Google's specific requirements. Google expects all advertising clients to comply with the laws of the corresponding regions where their ads are targeted, and this policy will be applied globally to all accounts promoting crypto products. In case of non-compliance, Google will issue a warning to the violators at least 7 days in advance, and if not rectified, the account may face suspension.
