Greeks.live macro researcher Adam released options delivery data on December 15 on the X platform: 37,000 BTC options are about to expire, the Put Call Ratio is 1.02, the biggest pain point is US$42,000, and the nominal value is US$1.58 billion. 268,000 ETH options are about to expire, the Put Call Ratio is 0.66, the biggest pain point is US$2,250, and the nominal value is US$610 million. Cryptocurrencies encountered a correction this week, especially when BTC fell to $40,000. A large number of protective options were traded, resulting in Put positions being larger than Call positions this week. From the options data, we can see that the main transactions are still concentrated in BTC options, the option implied volatility IV has been very stable for the past month, and large-scale position transfers are still in progress.
