The Solana Foundation launches "Token Extensions", a new standard for network SPL tokens, similar to Ethereum's ERC-20. Token Extensions are designed to help enterprises provide more efficient security and compliance services on the Solana network. The new standard includes features such as enhanced token interaction, transfer fees for each exchange token, and confidential transfers with zero-knowledge proofs. It is reported that encryption service company Paxos and stablecoin issuer GMO-Z.com Trust Company have already adopted Solana’s Token Extensions to issue stablecoins.
