GMEE Token released an update on the hacking incident, stating that the current impact is still limited to the Polygon network, and efforts are being made to identify and freeze hacker funds. Transactions are still suspended, but transactions on the Ethereum chain are not affected. Regarding the repair plan, it is planned to open token claiming on the Ethereum chain to GMEE Token holders on the Polygon chain in February. In order to protect the community, tokens from legal holders are currently being transferred back to Ethereum. This strategic move maximizes reduce impacts and prioritize community protection. While this migration phase is completed, users will be urged to avoid trading or transferring GMEE tokens, which is critical to the accuracy of the Ethereum claim snapshot, while liquidity providers on the DEX will also be advised to withdraw their liquidity.
