Report: Terra and Cardano among the top 10 ecosystems with the most “failed projects”

The latest “dead coin” report released by AlphaQuest Research states that after analyzing more than 12,000 cryptocurrency projects, it was found that nearly two-thirds of crypto projects have died. It is reported that the report’s criteria for evaluating a “dead coin” include that it is no longer included in CoinMarketCap, has low liquidity and trading volume, and has deactivated the X account and website. The report noted that between the 2020 and 2023 cycles, 2023 was the toughest year, with nearly 60% of “dead coins” disappearing. 72% of crypto projects born in 2020-2021 (the bull market) have died. The Terra and Cardano ecosystems are among the top 10 categories with the most “dead coins”, with 74% of projects in their ecosystems having “failed.”
