Venture capital firm Pantera Capital plans to raise more than $1 billion for its new cryptocurrency fund Pantera Fund V, which will provide investors with exposure to blockchain assets, people familiar with the matter said. Pantera Fund V will be the institution's second "all-in-one" fund that invests in startup equity, early tokens, liquidity tokens and other assets. A Pantera spokesperson did not immediately respond to a request for comment. Pantera had previously sought to raise $1.25 billion for its second blockchain fund in September 2022.
