CryptoQuant data shows that the "Kimchi premium" of Bitcoin in South Korea has been steadily declining since mid-April, currently at 1.54%, and peaked at 11.44% in March this year.
At the same time, the trading volume of the top five cryptocurrency exchanges in South Korea is also decreasing, including Upbit, Bithumb, Coinone, Korbit and Gopax. According to CoinGecko data, the total trading volume of these five exchanges in the past 24 hours was US$2 billion, while the trading volume on March 6 was reportedly close to US$18 billion.
