Universal EVM App Set To Launch On Solana Blockchain

According to Odaily, Skate, a blockchain-based platform, recently announced that the Universal EVM App is set to launch on the Solana blockchain. Skate has successfully executed a taskID from the Skate Nollie testnet to the Solana testnet using its EigenLayer Preconfirmation Layer AVS. By leveraging the economic trust model of EigenLayer, Skate's pre-confirmation layer AVS provides high security for Skate's universal applications on Solana, promoting network effects between the Ethereum and Solana ecosystems. Skate plans to open its testnet to the Skate community soon, allowing the community to conduct tests on some SOL-id rails. Prior to this, Range Protocol, an on-chain asset management protocol, announced the launch of the Skate universal application layer, which is centered on intent. Skate aims to solve the problem of application fragmentation in a multi-chain environment and can serve as a single center for on-chain code deployment. In addition to the underlying interoperability network, Skate will also connect with other blockchains through the Fast Finality Network, which is protected by EigenLayer's Active Verification Service (AVS), to achieve intent-driven cross-chain instant settlement. Skate plans to launch its mainnet in 2024 and will roll out testnet activities with incentive mechanisms to community members in the coming months.
