Argentina’s securities regulator (CNV) has announced the official launch of Argentina’s Virtual Asset Service Provider (VASP) Registry, allowing nearly 100 companies and individuals to apply for authorization to provide digital asset-related services in the country.
Given that the regulator only allows registered entities to legally operate in the Argentine jurisdiction, the registry will remain open for more companies to submit applications. 35 different companies have already been authorized by CNV, including four foreign exchanges. (Bitcoin.com)
