Airstar Bank has been a licensed bank of the Hong Kong Monetary Authority since May 9, 2019, and officially started operations on June 11, 2020. Its former major shareholder was Xiaomi Group. After this change, Xiaomi Group holds 50.30% of the shares and Futu holds 44.11%.
