The Jiefang Daily published an article "Shanghai takes the lead in starting the new track of the Metaverse industry". In June this year, Shanghai launched two special parks tailored for the Metaverse, namely "Zhangjiang Digital Chain" and "Caohejing Yuanchuang Future". Among them, "Zhangjiang Digital Chain" has established the "Zhangjiang Yuan Universe Innovation and Development Alliance". The first batch of members includes more than 20 professional institutions and leading enterprises such as Wisdom Technology, SAP, Baidu, Accenture, and Shanghai University of Science and Technology. In addition, according to the action plan, by 2025, the scale of related industries in Shanghai Metaverse will reach 350 billion yuan, more than 10 leading and chain-main enterprises with international competitiveness will emerge, and more than 100 specialized and special new enterprises with core technologies will be created. Among them, the key technological innovations of the Metaverse will be promoted by unveiling the list, and leading companies such as COMAC and SAIC will be supported to set up pilot demonstration scenarios of "Metaverse + Industrial Internet", and "Digital Human" will also be applied in multiple industries.
