A survey commissioned by digital asset infrastructure Zumo and conducted by Focaldata shows that before the upcoming UK general election, more than a third of young British people believe that cryptocurrency is an important election issue. Among them, 34% of young people aged 18-24 and 25-34 believe that the development of the crypto industry should be a priority for national politicians. Nick Jones, founder and CEO of Zumo, said: "As cryptocurrency enters the mainstream, our survey results show that young people in the UK hope that it will also enter the political agenda. Given the widespread turmoil in the traditional financial system, the UK should support alternative financial solutions instead of panicking and comparing them to gambling." (Crowdfundinsider)
