CryptoQuant Research Director: New Bitcoin Whales Have Realized Losses of $1 Billion in the Past Two Weeks

Julio Moreno, head of research at CryptoQuant, said in a post on X that data shows that new "Bitcoin whales" have realized losses of $1 billion in the past two weeks. Previously, the group achieved profitability in Q1. In addition, long-term whales (Old whales) achieved profitability in early June. Long-term whales are defined as follows: 1. Average UTXO age is more than 155 days (if less than 155 days, it is a short-term whale); 2. Balance exceeds 1,000 BTC; 3. No connection with CEX or mining companies.
