Tech giant Samsung is looking into how to change the form factor of its smartphones to better accommodate generative AI applications and features.
In a recent interview, Roh Tae-moon, president of Samsung’s mobile experience division, told AFR that a new generation of “AI phones” will look “very different” from standard phones, with potential deployments making them more “mobile” and likely to have more sensors and larger screens than currently available phones.
Roh Tae-moon’s comments come just a few months after Samsung launched the “Galaxy AI” system on several Samsung phones in May. The system is designed to simplify existing features, add new tools for users, and improve the overall functionality of Samsung phones. (Cointelegraph)
