Ripple Chief Legal Officer: I wouldn't be surprised if the SEC appeals the XRP case

Ripple Chief Legal Officer Stuart Alderoty recently spoke about the possibility of the US SEC appealing the final ruling of the XRP case. Alderoty said: "If the SEC is a rational actor, they should get out of this case." He emphasized the court's conclusion that "there are no victims here, no one has suffered any losses in this case, and there are no allegations of fraud." However, Alderoty doubted the rationality of the SEC, pointing out: "But we all know that when it comes to cryptocurrencies, the SEC has proven itself to be irrational." He added: "In our case, the court criticized the SEC for engaging in litigation games and strategies instead of faithfully applying the law."
