CKB releases white paper on Fiber Network, a public lightning network that aims to provide fast, low-cost multi-currency payments and P2P transactions for RGB++ assets

Fiber Network is a next-generation public lightning network built on Nervos CKB, designed to provide fast, low-cost and decentralized multi-currency payments and peer-to-peer transactions for RGB++ assets. It solves the scalability problem of traditional blockchains through off-chain payment channels and multi-hop routing technology, reduces transaction costs, and increases transaction speed. Fiber Network also supports multi-asset and cross-chain payments, and uses CKB's smart contract model and economic model to provide flexible programmability and interoperability for decentralized applications. At present, the prototype of Fiber Network has realized basic functions, and plans to further improve multi-hop routing and monitoring services, as well as provide RPC interfaces and SDKs to facilitate developer access and application development.
