This interaction is part of the ChatGPT Strawberry Upgrade, launched by OpenAI on September 13, 2024, to select users. The upgrade aims to enhance the model's reasoning abilities, allowing it to 'think before it answers.' The new model's response times range from 10-20 seconds and can independently scour the internet for thorough research. These advancements could make ChatGPT a valuable tool for real-world applications.
Originally scheduled for a November 2024 release, the Strawberry upgrade might launch earlier than expected.
