Private Bank Bank Syz Tokenizes Artworks via Taurus Platform

Swiss private bank Bank Syz recently used the Taurus tokenization platform to tokenize the work Dreamstime by Swiss artist Sarah Benslimane. These Ethereum-based security tokens were not sold, but distributed to bank employees, giving them ownership of the work. Employees who want to trade these tokens can buy and sell them through the Taurus TDX marketplace. The program by Bank Syz is intended to provide Swiss banks with a learning experience of a potential solution that their wealth clients may be interested in. So far, it has provided cryptocurrency trading and custody services to its clients. Bank Syz, which manages approximately CHF23 billion ($27 billion) in assets, has some well-known banking partners, especially in digital asset custody, serving Deutsche Bank, CACEIS and Santander, State Street.
