Japan's former Web3 project chairman Masaaki Taira may serve as digital minister

The president of the Japanese Liberal Democratic Party, Shigeru Ishiba, plans to appoint House of Representatives members Shironouchi Minoru and Taira Masaaki to the cabinet in the next government. According to multiple sources, adjustments are being made to Shironouchi Minoru as Minister of Economic Security and Taira as Minister of Digital.
