Fed voting committee dot plot: only another 25BP cut is needed this year

Atlanta Fed President and FOMC voter this year Bostic said that when he updated the Fed's dot plot in September, he expected the Fed to cut interest rates by only another 25 basis points this year. However, he said his forecast is not set in stone and he will adjust it as needed based on upcoming inflation and job market data. The Fed cut interest rates by 50 basis points in September and expects a series of rate cuts in the coming year to eliminate some of the policy restrictions it has imposed to reduce inflation.
