At the Chainlink 2024 Hong Kong SmartCon conference with the theme of "Integration of Blockchain and Traditional Finance", a number of traditional financial institutions that are actively exploring the deep integration of digital assets and on-chain finance expressed many insights at the SmartCon event.
At the roundtable session on the theme of "RWA: Phenomenon VS Essence", ZAN CEO Cobe Zhang was asked "Why are some people willing to invest in RWA when there are many high-yield and liquid products on the public chain?" He responded that the market must be diverse: Take the stock market as an example, there are both long-term investors and short-term investors; Web3 will usher in large-scale adoption in the future, some people prefer ETFs, and some people like to invest in Meme coins. Different investment categories will always coexist. ZAN provides RWA products to both traditional Web2 and emerging Web3 users. "We don't 'choose sides', but open to all compliant channels to enrich investors' choices. The liquidity of money market funds in the traditional market can achieve T+0 (redemption), which is supported by technology. In the future Web3, AI may even be used to select and formulate product portfolios."
