AXA IM, an asset management company, participates in two ECB wholesale CBDC pilots

As part of the ECB’s wholesale DLT settlement trial, AXA Investment Managers (AXA IM) executed two transactions using the Bank of France’s “exploratory cash token”, a wholesale CBDC. The trial was completed at the end of November. Previously, the Republic of Slovenia issued a digital sovereign bond using the BNP Paribas Neobonds tokenization platform. AXA IM was one of the investors that committed to invest €3 million, with settlement on a T+1 basis.
