According to official news, Matrixport, a one-stop crypto financial services platform, announced on December 18 that it plans to apply for a financial services license from the Glep Mindfulness City Authority (GMCA) in Bhutan to provide virtual asset services in a compliant manner.
Matrixport will be one of the first license applicants under the new financial services and virtual asset regulatory framework of Glep Mindfulness City (GMC), Bhutan. After obtaining regulatory approval from GMCA, Matrixport plans to provide compliant and diversified virtual asset financial services at GMC, including structured products, real world asset (RWA) services, prime brokerage and virtual asset custody solutions.
