El Salvador's Vice President Félix Ulloa highlighted the country's success in Bitcoin during a meeting with the Chinese ambassador, the Office of the Vice President of El Salvador said in a post on X.
The meeting, held on December 23, focused on strengthening bilateral relations and advancing projects to enhance digital connectivity and economic growth. Discussions focused on modernizing infrastructure and expanding economic initiatives to enhance El Salvador's regional influence. Ulloa highlighted the country's financial and digital progress, noting that the country's Bitcoin reserves have exceeded $500 million. He attributed the achievement to the Bitcoin Office under President Nayib Bukele.
Earlier news, El Salvador currently holds 6,000 BTC, worth more than $568 million.
