Hunan Province's digital government blockchain platform and application demonstration project (government chain) finally started trial operation in September 2024. In the past three months, a system platform has been stably built that integrates government data: evidence storage, inspection, call, and secure sharing. The total data on the chain has exceeded 310,000.
At present, the Hunan Provincial Government Blockchain has completed the connection with the One-Stop Electronic Certificate Platform, and the first batch of electronic certificates of birth certificates, marriage certificates, and disability certificates have been completed. On the chain; at the same time, the connection and chain of real estate registration electronic certificates have been completed with the Hunan Provincial Department of Natural Resources, and the connection and chain of data intellectual property registration certificates have been completed with the Hunan Provincial Intellectual Property Office. The electronic certificates of various provincial units and cities and prefectures are also being chained one after another.
In the future, government departments will use the Hunan Provincial Government Blockchain Platform to obtain and verify various information of enterprises through the enterprise trusted data space authorization, without the need for enterprises to provide it repeatedly. In other words, from doing one thing to doing multiple things, from a single department to multiple departments, enterprises or individuals have the opportunity to achieve "no need to run once", and the way of doing things will also change from submitting materials to authorized data call and verification.
Zhang Wei, technical director of Xiangjiang Tree Graph, the technical contractor of Hunan Provincial Government Blockchain Platform, introduced that this is the largest provincial government blockchain network in China. The main chain contains 100 consensus nodes with high computing power, covering all provincial departments and 14 cities and prefectures in Hunan Province. It is reported that the project uses innovative technologies developed independently in key areas such as consensus algorithms, privacy computing, and trusted storage.
