The vulnerability of Argent X version 5.0, a browser plug-in wallet based on StarkNet, was disclosed on Wednesday night. Within 3 hours after being disclosed, a new version of the account was deployed on the StarkNet mainnet, and a patch version of Argent X 5.0.3 was released for Chrome and Firefox users. This vulnerability caused a small number of Argent X users who upgraded to the latest version to be affected, without causing any account loss, and their wallet services on Layer 1 or zkSync are running normally. On Monday, the Argent team released version 5.0 of Argen X, which supports the new Cairo version 0.10. The version update needs to migrate the account from the old interface to the new interface. The Braavos team disclosed on Wednesday night that sending traditional transactions to the new account caused the Cairo virtual machine to bypass verification methods and security checks.
