BlockFi: Court Temporarily Allows Redaction of Creditor Information, Plans to Request Court Approval to Resume BlockFi Wallet Account Withdrawals

The encrypted lending company BlockFi announced the first day of bankruptcy liquidation hearings, saying that the court agreed to temporarily allow it to edit the names, addresses and contact information of individuals and customers in the list of the top 50 creditors to be submitted to the court. Client privacy is a priority in its handling of cases, and BlockFi intends to continue to take actions to protect client information. As part of its presentation in court, BlockFi also said it intends to seek court approval to resume withdrawals from BlockFi wallet accounts. The next hearing is currently scheduled for January 9, 2023 at 10:00 EST.
