Both the New York State Common Retirement Fund and the Ohio Teachers' Retirement System have indirectly invested in FTX

The New York State Common Retirement Fund and the State Teachers Retirement System of Ohio disclosed investments in FTX through private equity and venture capital firm Thoma Bravo, Buyouts Insider reported. A spokesman for the New York State Mutual Retirement Fund confirmed that the fund did have losses, but the amounts were very small.
