Lightning Network Solution Service Provider Breez Completes $4.5M Funding Led by Ego Death Capital and Entrée Capital

Lightning network solution service provider Breez announced the completion of a new round of financing of US$4.5 million, led by Ego Death Capital and Entrée Capital, with participation from Hivemind Ventures, Fulgur Ventures, Hawk Digital Innovation and Bitcoiner Ventures. Breez started out as a Lightning Network client, offering services like Lightning point-of-sale software and a native podcast player. Breez now aims to decentralize the development of new Lightning-based applications and use cases through its non-custodial Lightning SDK. Breez was previously backed by Seetee, the bitcoin-focused subsidiary of Norwegian investment group Aker.
