The blockchain social media project Mithril tweeted that Binance announced today that it will delist its token MITH. Mithril said it made a deposit of 200,000 BNB to Binance when it first went live in November 2018. In view of Binance’s unilateral decision to terminate this partnership, Binance is required to return 200,000 BNB ($53 million) so that Mithril can continue to operate. Mithril claims that as the first token to be launched on the BNB Beacon Chain (BEP2) network, it has a long history of cooperation with Binance and has also donated to Binance Charity. At launch in 2018, 200,000 BNB deposits were worth about $1 million. In the Binance delisting announcement, MITH tokens plummeted by 20%. Binance announced today that it will delist four tokens: MITH, TRIBE, REP, and BTCST. The announcement stated that the tokens no longer meet the listing standards of the exchange.
