[Guide] Simplest Way to All Arbitrum Discord Roles. 5 Minutes and $5 in ETH Are All You Need

If you are looking at the bitcoin price chart, it seems like the crypto market is still in its bear market as the so-called high volatile investment asset has been flattening around the $19K mark for weeks. But in fact, a fiesta is happening right now in the crypto land. Crypto enthusiasts are having a blast with a few newly launched cryptos, say XEN Crypto (XEN), Aptos (APT), and even Die Protocol (DIE), the Vitalik’s memecoin.

Everyone in the scene is seeking the next Aptos, hoping to beg for sweet airdrop money. While there is no guarantee that interactions with new chains and protocols could score any airdrop, there is a saying that if you never try, you never know. Lots of blockchains and protocols, say Sui, Aleo, Zksync, StarkNet, and Arbitrum, have yet to launch their token, and all of them suddenly become the target of crypto “degens”. People have now learned from Aptos that hard work does pay off, there is no way to stopping them now. You may choose to be a bystander, or join the army and become one of the dream chasers. Today, our target is the highly anticipated Ethereum Layer 2 (L2) solution player, Arbitrum.

Before you start, there is a heads-up from the Arbitrum’s team. Quoted hunter the admin, “guild roles have no utility beyond the role itself - so if you're getting them to speculate, it's not worth it frens”. So yeah, claiming all the Discord (DC) roles doesn’t mean you are guaranteed a spot in the airdrop. But again, never try never know, right? Anyway, please proceed with caution. Let’s begin.

Visit https://guild.xyz/arbitrum and connect your wallet, DC, and Twitter.

After connecting everything that is required, click “Join Arbitrum” in Arbitrum’s DC channel and your role will be shown.

Sending fund

First off, to claim all the roles, you may need some ETH in the Arbitrum network. You may choose to send your fund by bridging or just send it directly from your exchange. 0.005 ETH will be sufficient.

https://hop.exchange/- Can select to bridge from the four selected networks.

Exchange – Some exchanges even offer free transfers. FTX is used as the example below.

Basically, Arbitrum’s quests are requesting us to hold the coin of the listed DeFi protocol. In the traditional way, the steps for buying altcoin are as follows:

1. Copy the token’s contract address from blockchain explorer.

2. Visit either https://app.uniswap.org/ or https://www.sushi.com/ to swap the altcoin.

3. Paste the token’s contract address and select the altcoin.

4. Enter the amount of altcoins to swap. I always prefer to swap a little bit more just in case.

5. Back to https://guild.xyz/arbitrum and your new role is now granted!

However, hold your horses for now. A brilliant Twitter user, @younglin0x, deployed a smart contract that could save us the hassle of copying and pasting each address one by one. Not only that, but we can also save gas fees by purchasing all the requested altcoins in one go. Here’s the walkthrough.

1. Visit the smart contract at https://arbiscan.io/address/0x13c2910c06f6f8648cb01d4f20ad8fa1d3868a17#writeContract

Click “Connect to Web3” and connect your wallet.

2. Enter “0.003 ETH” and click “Write”.

3. Confirm the transaction and you are now good to go.

4. If you are curious about how this works, you may visit the transaction via MetaMask.

5. Back to https://guild.xyz/arbitrum and all roles are granted except the last, which requires us to complete it using the traditional way.

6. Visit either https://app.uniswap.org/ or https://www.sushi.com/ and enter the token’s contract address: 0xeEeEEb57642040bE42185f49C52F7E9B38f8eeeE

7. Tada!

8. Last but not least, there is another role not listed in the above list. Simply update your Twitter username with (💙,🧡) will do.
