Brixie Group (Brixie), a Singapore-registered fintech startup, under the pursuit of relevant licences in Estonia, Lithuania, UAE and others, offering blockchain-based investment solutions to real estate investors and crypto enthusiasts alike, just completed a core fundraise of over $500,000 (USD) in their pre-seed round.
Some of the key investors include She Leads Africa Founder, Yasmin Belo-Osagie, Archer Aviation Founder & CEO Julien Glassey, iCare Benefits Group Co-Founder & Group CEO Molika Meas, ADA Director of Business Development Maximiliano Berger and Fireworks Solutions Founders Lee Tseng Yip and Lee Kok Lim.
Brixie is founded by its Chairman and Group CEO Tomas Pokorny, Vice-Chairman and Group CSO Pablo F. Alonso Caprile and Group COO Chris Wray.
When asked about his thoughts on the support received, Mr Pokorny said “I am completely overwhelmed. As we all know, we’re in very challenging times: there are looming threats to the global economy and both businesses and investors are, generally, being cautious with how they utilize their funds. So, to receive support despite all of these speaks volumes about Brixie”.
Brixie’s easy-to-use and highly secure platform allows its users to tokenize real estate assets from countries worldwide with its first assets under management to be located in Cambodia, Africa, Malaysia, Indonesia, UK, Czech Republic, Colombia, Brazil, Australia and Spain.
Brixie users can then trade these tokens from within the platform or crowdsource funds to acquire them. As a whole, Brixie’s platform allows users to access global investment opportunities, invest in non-speculative digital assets, crowdsource and manage their investment funds easily.
Going forward, Brixie’s team will focus on its soft-launch initiatives which includes an addition of a Climate Change Fight Fund Initiative (CCFFI) to tokenize and protect large swathes of forested land. This initiative is aimed at lowering barriers of entry of both B2B and B2C users into the Brixie platform, monetize climate change projects and remove any liquidity challenges.
This diversity of the asset classes portfolio as well as truly international focus, backed by a unique approach to licensing and assets holding, is Brixie’s key recipe for scale.
