7月9日，许多虚拟货币用户开始注意到，美国虚拟货币交易所上列出的虚拟货币价格与全球现货价格之间的差距逐渐扩大，许多人称之为虚拟货币的“去挂钩化”。

然而，虽然这些大折扣看起来很诱人，对套利者来说是天上掉下来的便宜。但事实是大多数投资者无法从中受益。因为目前的超低价格，只适用于在虚拟货币交易所上用法币美元交易虚拟货币的情况。
而且更大问题在于，自6月9日起，Binance.US停止了法币美元的入金，意味着Binance.US的用户无法向平台存入新的美元。那么这些“打折”虚拟货币只能用在之前存在帐户上的美元来购买。
再加上人们对于Binance.US即将停止美元提现的担忧，也导致平台上的一些用户宁愿以低于市场价的价格交易他们账户里的虚拟货币，以便拿到手美元能够从Binance.US安全脱身。
一封Binance.US发给客户的电子邮件表示，美元提现的最后期限是7月20日。
5月下旬，当币安澳大利亚分站的第三方支付提供商关闭法定货币存款提款通道时，就发生过类似的情况。
那个时候当以澳大利亚元进行交易时，币安上的BTC价格曾比全球现货价格低了20%。
