Organised by DeFi platform ArrayFi, Bridge Web3 2023 was a three-day conference hosted on Phú Quốc island in Vietnam.
The event saw active participation from blockchain venture capitalists (VCs), projects, and communities in the Asia-Pacific region. It saw projects and communities hailing from Southeast Asia actively engage in face-to-face discussions, all focusing on the collaborative potential of Web3.
The Launch of ArrayFi
At the heart of Bridge Web3 2023 was the launch of ArrayFi, a decentralised Web3 protocol that sought to overcome the limitations of previous projects in the field.
ArrayFi unveiled its ecosystem and its plans for the future. Most notable was ArrayFi's technical development on the Binance Smart Chain, along with its dual-token system comprising the stablecoin USDR, and the governance token ARA. ArrayFi also revealed upcoming collaborations involving artificial intelligence (AI) technology with the e-commerce platform Liza.
Mr Jim Deme said: "ARA adopts a fair issuance mechanism without seed or private rounds, and there is no upper limit on the total supply. ArrayFi will leverage AI to address the shortcomings of existing Web3 projects, providing value-added asset management and ecosystem application.”
Mr Deme identified ArrayFi as a novel AI asset management platform that integrates centralised exchanges, AI technology, quantitative trading, dual tokens, dual-asset models, DeFi, GameFi platforms, and valuable resources from the traditional Web2 world.
At the core of ArrayFi lies its AI algorithm-supported currency system which operates on a few core principles:
· Users stake ARA to borrow the stablecoin USDR.
· The ratio of ARA to USDR is maintained at 4:1.
· 90% of the pledged funds enter ArrayGo, ArrayFi's proprietary AI algorithm that ensures the floor price of ARA.
· 10% is allocated to the liquidity pool for market price discovery.
ARA's floor price, which rises as the consumption of USDR increases, utilises a dynamic arbitrage system powered by AI algorithms. This is expected to prevent malicious short-selling and as a result its potential detrimental impact on the ecosystem.
Strategic Partnerships for Ecosystem Expansion
The platform teased collaborations with existing e-commerce and social platforms in Southeast Asia, giving their preview of a Web3 ecosystem that brings decentralised finance and blockchain technology to the masses.
One such partnership was formed with Liza, a prominent social e-commerce platform in Southeast Asia. The collaboration between ArrayFi and Liza will incorporate Web3 technology into Liza's platform, providing users with access to decentralised finance services, staking rewards, liquidity mining, and participation in ArrayFi's ecosystem.
Additionally, ArrayFi emphasised on its upcoming collaborations with gaming platforms to tap into the growing GameFi market. By integrating with such GameFi platforms, ArrayFi intends to offer users the chance to earn rewards through gameplay and manage in-game assets, bridging the gap between gaming and blockchain.
Apart from partnerships, ArrayFi showcased its Lucky Wheel game, an interactive experience where users can spin the wheel to win various rewards, including USDR tokens and NFTs. The game exemplifies ArrayFi's commitment to creating engaging experiences for users while promoting the adoption of its ecosystem.
