Sweet Tidings: Cake Group Appoints New CMO from Animoca Superapp

Singapore-based Cake Group, parent company of CakeDeFi, has just appointed industry veteran Samuel Christian as its new Chief Marketing Officer(CMO).

Prior to this appointment, Christian served as the CMO of Animoca-backed financial superapp hi, which brought the world’s first fiat-crypto NFT debit card to market via a strategic partnership with Mastercard.

At Cake, Christian will be responsible for ensuring that Cake's products and services become the first choice for blockchain and crypto, including bringing new products and services to fruition and expanding geographic expansion.

Currently, Cake Group has four different verticals: its retail arm Bake, which is a DeFi lending protocol, an institutional arm known as Levain, as well as its research and development arm Birthday Research and Whisk, its venture capital arm.
