On 2nd May, Asia Blockchain Gaming Alliance (ABGA) and Klaytn officially announced that ABGA has been selected as a member of Klaytn Governance Committee (GC).
Klaytn is a public blockchain platform developed by Ground X, the blockchain subsidiary of South Korean internet giant Kakao. Klaytn is an open-source public blockchain designed for tomorrow’s on-chain world. The Klaytn GC comprises established industry players and community leaders responsible for securing the network and advising on key governance issues. With the help of the GC, Klaytn can ensure the platform's security and governance.
ABGA is proud to join other leading crypto institutions such as Kakao Crop, Netmarble, Signum, Jump Crypto, Binance, Hashkey, Wemade, 1inch, Neopin, and more as members of the GC. With 30 companies in the GC, ABGA is excited to collaborate with these industry leaders to jointly support the development of Klaytn ecology and Web3 game ecology. Meanwhile, ABGA will continue to expand Klaytn’s user and developer communities, with a specific focus in the Greater China region, through industry onboarding activities, such as co-hosted blockchain developer events, hackathons, and start-up showcase webinars, to help grow the blockchain gaming ecosystem on Klaytn’s mainnet.
"We are thrilled to be a part of the Klaytn Governance Council," said ABGA's chairman Kevin Shao. "This is an opportunity for us to contribute to developing a groundbreaking public chain while also helping to shape the future of blockchain governance."
Asia Blockchain Gaming Alliance (ABGA) is a non-profit blockchain alliance co-sponsored by leading institutions in the crypto industry. ABGA members are optimistic about blockchain games, NFTs, and the Metaverse and are supporting ABGA-related activities and investments. As of press time, more than 40 industry head organizations have become the institutional members of ABGA Eco.
As a member of the GC, ABGA will play an active role in advising and voting on key governance issues and supporting the development of the Klaytn ecosystem.
