Casio partners with STEPN GO to launch 800 pairs of limited edition NFT sneakers in virtual G-SHOCK project

Casio Computer Co., Ltd. has collaborated with STEPN GO to release 800 limited-edition NFT sneakers.

This is part of the VIRTUAL G-SHOCK project, which incorporates elements of Casio’s iconic G-SHOCK watches into the sneaker designs.

Features of the Sneaker NFTs

The sneaker NFTs draw inspiration from the G-SHOCK brand, particularly the G-SQUAD line known for its shock-resistant sports watches.

These virtual sneakers are designed to appeal in digital spaces while showcasing shock absorption for physical activities like running.

Raffle Mint and Availability

The NFTs will be available through a Raffle Mint on MOOAR, FSL's NFT marketplace, from August 26 to 29. This exclusive offering aims to attract collectors and fitness enthusiasts alike.

Earning Crypto with STEPN GO

STEPN GO, a Web3 lifestyle app, allows users to earn crypto rewards based on their physical activity, such as walking or running. This collaboration with Casio further expands the app's reach, blending fitness with digital asset ownership.

Expansion of Web3 Lifestyle Apps

STEPN GO continues to form partnerships to promote Web3 adoption. The VIRTUAL G-SHOCK initiative is part of a broader strategy to attract new users to the app.

FSL’s co-founder, Yawn Rong, emphasises the importance of these collaborations in bringing mainstream attention to Web3 lifestyle applications.

STEPN previously cooperated with Adidas

This partnership follows STEPN's earlier collaboration with Adidas, which led to the release of 1,000 limited-edition sneakers on the Solana blockchain.

STEPN also launched a significant airdrop campaign, distributing millions of tokens to its community.
