Once you enter MeMe coins, it's like a deep sea. According to Dune panel data, 2zBoK currently launches ~25,000 meme coins every day, and ~400 can be successfully listed to DEX every day, with a launch success rate of ~1.63%. According to my brief experience, only a small proportion of the ~400 MeME coins that have been successfully launched can break through the $1M market value barrier. Even if you are lucky enough to break through the $1M market value, the normal life cycle of most MeME coins is only 48 hours.
From the above data, we can see that the position of meme coin transactions on the spectrum from gambling to investment is closer to gambling. However, unlike the dice, game machines, Crash, thousand-fold contracts and other gameplay of the previous generation of on-chain gambling, MeMe coins are more addictive due to the uncertainty of rewards (unpredictable odds).
Moreover, the market value and unrealized profits of MeMe coins are actually a modern financial sleight of hand. The static actual extractable value of all holders of a certain MeMe coin is only equal to 1/2 of the pool value.
I have statistically analyzed the latest 24-hour popular meme token pool - market value data, and the pool / market value ratio distribution is as follows:

The mainstream pool / market value ratio is between 30% and 60%. That is, the static actual extractable value of all holders of these popular mem coins is only 15% to 30% of their market value.

For the above reasons, the trading model of meme coins is very different from other markets.
