What is the best way to issue NFT currently?
In my opinion, this is achieved through Farcaster Frames.
Used in conjunction with apps like Warpcast and Zora, Frame lets you place NFTs that people can collect for free with one click, without wallet transactions.
Making collection so easy, making it so easy to reach more collectors. If you're interested in trying this process out for yourself.
Start with Zora
A variety of applications already support Farcaster Frames, including the popular NFT creator suite Zora. Zora makes it easy to issue an NFT and distribute it through the Frames mint, so I’m going to use that in the walkthrough demo for this article to show you the gist of the possibilities.
Another reason I like using Zora as an example here is that it gives you a lot of options. It supports a range of chains (currently Ethereum, Arbitrum, Base, Blast, Optimism, and Zora Network), creates NFTs for free (currently on Base and Zora Network), and logs in via email, so you don’t even need a wallet to get started .
If you're ready to dive in, head to zora.co and log in or create and verify an account if you haven't done so already.
Prepare your collection
After logging in to Zora, press the + next to the profile button in the upper right corner of the page Number. Doing so will take you to Zora's creation interface.
If you have not created your own NFTs on Zora before, you will first need to create a collection to put the NFTs in (and possibly future NFTs if you are making a series).
You can do this directly from the Create UI by pressing the Create Collection option under the Collections tab. This will open a page where you can enter your main collection details and select which network you want to mint on, as shown below:
Of course, if you already have an existing collection that you want to mint, just select it from the "Collection" here ” select it from the drop-down menu. In today's demo, I'm going to create a new NFT for my AI sketch collection "Stable Peasters", so I'll click on that to continue.
Upload your NFT Media
When your collection is ready, you can now prepare the media and NFT details.
You can click the Try Canvas button in the Upload Imagination UI to create and remix new pieces directly from scratch, or simply click Upload Imagination to upload all your creations. required media files. Note that while a variety of files from audio to PDF are supported, there is a size limit of 2GB.
After entering your media, press the "View Advanced Options" button below the "Create" tab to further customize the details of your NFT, such as its description, minting start time, version size, and more.
Once everything is as per Once your wishes are set, press the "Create" button at the bottom of the page and you will be prompted to sign the transaction to complete the creation process.
Build an enhanced mint for Farcaster
Now that you have your NFT set up, you can prepare it for free with Farcaster Frames. Keyed Mint, where you can use ETH to pay collectors for minted coins. To get started, click the Dashboard button in your profile drop-down menu on Zora, or if you're already logged in, just go to zora.co/manage.
At this point, select your target collection (in my case, "Stable Peasters") and then select your newly created NFT. In the NFT's admin dashboard, click the "Boost" tab so that the "Deploy Booster" option appears. Click this button and this will prompt you to sign a small transaction with your wallet.
After completing the transaction , you will be given the "Grant Permissions" option to set up your enhanced minting system. Complete subsequent transactions to continue.
Finally, you will Get ready to add some ETH to your booster.
For example, as shown below, depositing 0.021 ETH now will cover the first 50 or so minters, which means that when I share my NFT via Farcaster Frame, the first 50 or so minters will be able to fully Free collection. If you want to get your NFTs into the hands of as many collectors as smoothly as possible, this is a good avenue to consider.
In other words, Enter the amount of ETH you want to pay for gas fees here, then press "Send" and complete the deposit transaction using your wallet. Later, if you find that your ETH is not all used up, you can use the Withdraw button to return the remaining balance to your wallet.
Make your Farcaster frame
Once your booster is ready, you will be in NFT management You will see a "Cast your frame" button under the "Boost" tab in the browser dashboard.
Now, let's say you Already have a Warpcast account (the most popular Farcaster app), clicking the "Cast your frame" option will instantly link you to the Warpcast minting UI and your NFT mints will be automatically prepared as frames. Simply complete your post with any context you want to add, tag the channel you want (I chose my /metaversal channel), and press "Cast" to post your frame, like this: p>
Here, please note, This specific Frame feature turns your NFT link into an interactive minting app, through which collectors can collect for free simply by clicking on the actor's "Mint" button, without having to sign a wallet transaction.
In contrast, if I post this NFT link on Twitter, it's just a standard link that people have to click to leave Twitter, go to Zora, log in, and then sign the wallet transaction Pay the gas fee. NFTs dropped via the boosted Frame method allow you to eliminate all these extra steps and provide a frictionless collection experience in people's Warpcast feeds, which is powerful!
Outlook
Whether you want to publish your own artwork or create a new token-gated community, NFTs released through Farcaster Frames are by far the most intriguing One of the most attractive distribution channels.
Farcaster apps like Warpcast not only feature the most hardcore cryptocurrency natives, the people most likely to be your early supporters, but simplify the collection process to just one click, for A user experience game changer for collectors. The more steps you remove from the process, the more likely people are to collect. No one wants to jump through a bunch of hoops for anything!
Also, please note that enhanced NFT minting is not the only use case for Frames, nor is Zora the only minting platform integrated with Frames. The Zora + Warpcast combo is just a great early example of how Frames can help NFT creatives, so don’t pay attention to it!
