On October 18th, Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin conducted an open AMA (Ask Me Anything) session on the social media platform Warpcast by Farcaster.

During this extensive interaction spanning several hours, the community posed many intriguing questions to Vitalik, covering topics such as the development of Ethereum and Crypto, perspectives on real-world society, personal interests, and experiences. In addition to his updates and activities within the community, I believe many people are curious about his personal life, and I'm very curious too! So, the recent AMA session was a great opportunity to learn more about him!

Exorbitantly-priced T-shirt

What I find most intriguing about him is his fashion preference! I can only describe his attire as having a very distinctive personality. Perhaps he's just a bit too humorous and enjoys joking around with everyone.

Two years ago, he made his strongest statement yet, confirming the bear market, as he showed up to the EthDenver conference dressed as a bear.

At another summit, his outfit completely opened up my fashion universe. I can only say that he's very adept at handling different fashion combinations.

In this AMA, someone asked if the T-shirt he bought with 8.5 BTC is still around. Unfortunately, it's not.

Vitalik said, "Many years ago, I lost it on a train in the UK when I forgot my bag."

Yes, he answered very casually. I believe he sees that expensive t-shirt just as a piece of clothing.

Food Preference: Dining Pattern

One of the audience asked, "What did you have for breakfast this morning?"

He had about 16g of Lindt 85% dark chocolate, as he ran out of his favourite 90% dark chocolate. He usually only eats two meals a day, brunch and dinner, with about a 6-hour gap in between.

He seems to really enjoy Lindt chocolate. I also like it, but my favourite is their signature one, the milk chocolate ball. I wonder if Lindt would consider him as a spokesperson!

In 2022, Lindt launched a delightful virtual store in the Metaverse with the virtual e-commerce platform ByondXR.

Maybe Vitalik has taken part in this delightful virtual store in the Metaverse!

Music Preference: Surprised, it is a Mandarin Song!

Someone asked, "What music have you been listening to these days?"

He replied: "Some high-energy Mandarin songs are very suitable for listening during the 15-20 kilometres of a long run, and they can significantly increase running speed.

For example, Angela Chang's 'Aurora' (歐若拉) and 'Break the Cocoon' (破繭) can both increase my speed by almost 10%. Lately, I've also been listening to some Japanese songs."

Angela Chang's songs and Japanese songs have relatively high tones! Like many people, he listens to more uplifting songs when he exercises to increase the rhythm and speed of his workout.

Surprisingly, he also listens to Mandarin songs, perhaps intentionally choosing a language he doesn't understand, allowing him to focus on exercising, which can increase his workout speed by 10%!

Favourite City: Singapore is His 2nd Home

"There are very interesting questions: Where do you most enjoy taking walks in a city or place? After becoming a public figure, would you like to see any changes?

Vitalik responded: Recently, I have indeed ceased to be like a 'city dweller,' even though I am in Singapore. I would prefer to live in a place further from the city centre, such as near the reservoir park.

In terms of cities, I prefer Singapore, Taipei, Vienna, Toronto, and Ithaca, New York.

It's probably easy for everyone to guess why he likes Singapore! Otherwise, why would he become a citizen of Singapore!

Sport Preference: Table Tennis VS Tennis

Someone asked Vitalik, "Do you want to play tennis together?"

He humorously responded, "Is it table tennis or tennis?"

He hasn't played these two sports in a long time and really wants to play at some point.

I suddenly thought, maybe nobody is playing with him! There are many places in Singapore where you can play tennis!

Personal Motivation: Quartic Element Person

Questions: What is your source of motivation?

As a co-founder of Ethereum, his thinking is always a bit unique. He believes that we can do something truly valuable. In this process, positive outcomes won't naturally occur, so we have a responsibility to carefully consider and turn them into reality.

His statement is a bit abstract, but in any case, when you have a goal, you must take action. Without being proactive, you cannot achieve results!
