X empire has determined October 24th as the token distribution time, and the airdrop will also be distributed on the same day

After several delays and changes, the developers of X Empire have announced that the game’s current phase is coming to an end, with the X token launch scheduled for 24 October.

Players will experience the closure of the "Chill Phase" season on Thursday, 17 October at 6pm UTC, marking the final opportunity to accumulate in-game progress before the airdrop.

Final Preparations for the Token Release

X Empire will halt gameplay one week before the airdrop, allowing time for final calculations and preparations. While the claim process for the X token is set to begin on 18 October, the token itself will not be available for trading until the launch date on 24 October, according to an official statement from the game’s developers.

From Musk Empire to X Empire

Originally debuting as Musk Empire in July, X Empire allows players to engage with a tap-to-earn mechanism, reminiscent of games like Hamster Kombat. It initially featured a cartoonish version of Elon Musk, where players could upgrade his abilities and ventures using in-game currency.

Since its rebranding, X Empire has diversified its content, incorporating avatars inspired by other prominent figures in the cryptocurrency space, including Ethereum’s Vitalik Buterin and Telegram’s Pavel Durov.

Majority of Tokens Reserved for Players

The game plans to distribute 75% of its 690 billion tokens to players as part of the airdrop, while the remaining 25% will be allocated for future rewards and incentive programmes.

While the game's developers are moving forward with their plans, the numerous delays raise questions about the reliability of the launch schedule. The repeated postponements might undermine player confidence, even as the project finally nears its token release.
