Fitch Predicts Fed Rate Cuts In November And December

According to Odaily, Fitch Ratings has forecasted that the Federal Reserve will implement a 25 basis point rate cut in both November and December meetings. Despite these anticipated cuts, the overall easing cycle by the Fed is expected to remain moderate. Fitch also projects that the U.S. job market will not experience significant deterioration as a result of these rate reductions. The federal funds target rate (upper limit) is expected to decrease to 4.5% by the end of this year, further dropping to 3.5% by the end of 2025, and reaching a neutral level of 3.0% by June 2026.
