According to PANews, OpenAI's revenue reached $300 million in August, marking a 170% increase since the beginning of 2023. The company is projected to achieve an annual revenue of approximately $3.7 billion this year, with expectations to surge to $11.6 billion next year. However, a financial expert who reviewed the related documents indicated that after covering costs associated with service operations, employee salaries, and office rent, OpenAI is anticipated to incur a loss of around $5 billion this year. The company will need to continue raising funds over the next year as its expenses rise in tandem with the growing number of users of its products.
