Celsius Bankruptcy Trustee Distributes Over $2.53 Billion to Creditors

According to Odaily, the bankruptcy trustee for Celsius has issued its first repayment status report, revealing that over $2.53 billion has been distributed to approximately 251,000 creditors. The trustee's court filing on Monday indicated that the payments were made in liquid cryptocurrencies and cash, based on the prices as of January 16. These distributions cover about two-thirds of all eligible creditors by number and approximately 93% of the eligible value. Additionally, there are around 121,000 eligible creditors who have an average distribution amount of about $1,500 each, but they have not yet successfully claimed their allocations.
