Yellow Card Secures $33 Million In Series C Funding For Expansion

According to Foresight News, African cryptocurrency exchange platform Yellow Card has successfully raised $33 million in its Series C funding round. The round was led by Blockchain Capital, with participation from Polychain Capital, Third Prime Ventures, Castle Island Ventures, Block, Inc., Galaxy Ventures, Blockchain Coinvestors, Hutt Capital, and Winklevoss Capital. This latest funding brings Yellow Card's total equity financing to $85 million. The newly acquired funds will be utilized for growth and expansion, particularly by enhancing Yellow Card's API and widget products. Additionally, Yellow Card is developing innovative new products for the African continent and strengthening its team and systems. Previously, Yellow Card completed a $15 million Series A funding round in September 2021 and a $40 million Series B funding round in September 2022.
